I have just installed the latest version of cygwin on my NT box. I have run
ssh-config. I have edited sshd_config, and changed /usr/local/etc/ssh_host_key to
/etc/ssh_host_key
I have tried changing the password with the passwd command. no matter what I do sshd
says the connection is closed by
I have just figured out how to get sshd up and running on an NT box. I have a problem
however, when I try to login from another box, (or for that matter from the same box)
my password isn't recognized. I have even tried accounts where there is no password,
and the empty password is not recogniz

I tried compiling the source from www.insecure.org, but the configure file didn't
work.
I did a search in deja news, and it looks like nobody else has had much luck either.
Are there any other free port scaners for win32 besides nmap?

I just installed the cygwin suite from

and boy has it improved in the last year. I see now emacs comes with the
installation as does ssh.
