I have just installed the latest version of cygwin on my NT box. I have run ssh-config. I have edited sshd_config, and changed /usr/local/etc/ssh_host_key to /etc/ssh_host_key I have tried changing the password with the passwd command. no matter what I do sshd says the connection is closed by

I have just figured out how to get sshd up and running on an NT box. I have a problem however, when I try to login from another box, (or for that matter from the same box) my password isn't recognized. I have even tried accounts where there is no password, and the empty password is not recogniz

Is there a port for nmap for win32 I tried compiling the source from www.insecure.org, but the configure file didn't work. I did a search in deja news, and it looks like nobody else has had much luck either. Are there any other free port scaners for win32 besides nmap? Thanks in Advance, Clar

WAN ports for ssh

I just installed the cygwin suite from ftp://ftp.sunsite.utk.edu/pub/cygwin/setup.exe and boy has it improved in the last year. I see now emacs comes with the installation as does ssh. I would like to ssh into a machine at work. I know my wan IP address and the local address of the machine.
