stow 2.4.0+5.36-1 is now available in Cygwin. This is a new upstream release of stow 2.4.0, the first new release of stow since 2019. It includes bug fixes, clean-ups, and minor improvements. For the full list of changes see the stow NEWS[1].
stow manages the installation of local software packages by creating sets of symlinks from the installed location (e.g. /usr/local) to a stow directory (e.g. /usr/local/stow/emacs) where the real files live. This allows you to keep packages separate, while making them appear to be installed in the same place. Andrew E.
