Can you make sure you did a:
'cvs update -d -r XFIXES_BRANCH' in the xc dir? This will make sure that it
is correctly up to date.
Otherwise, there would be scope for problems. Let me know.

heaven. What a treat to be able to run a real Emacs under Windows.

Before I tried again I reloaded all XFree stuff.
