I've finally made it: xdvi runs okay under cygwin+XFree86!
Needed a code change in the way read() is called by
mk_pk_get_results() in font_open.c

Hi, has anybody installed xdvi on XFree86/cygwin?
I have tried it using xdvi 22.53 downloaded from
http://www.math.berkeley.edu/~vojta/xdvi.html
ftp.math.berkeley.edu
and it gives runtime errors. Does anybody have a
success story?
