Works fine..no rubber bands.. none of my previous problems (my error!). Only quirk I can see is loads of 'winAddRgn()' message lines at the end of my XWin.log. Thanks a million..I owe someone a beer for this!! Colin

Hi Probably already known? xterm not working (for me!) on latest cygwin release (1.3.11 cygwin1.dll) from local shell or .bat. OK... stuff like xeyes work and nothing reported in logs!! When I open xterm from a 'remote' machine (e.g. ssh shell.PuTTY) works OK. Temporarily fixed by reverting cyw
