Hi,
Works for me with and without XF86Config file.
I'm gb (UK) pc105 wxpsp1.
My pound sign works OK for me (I can type 'em but I can't keep 'em!)

Works for me (w2k, sp3, Microsoft Natural keyboard, English layout). Only
thing is the ? (GB pound) doesn't print anything, but that doesn't bother
me overly atm.
