When I start X cygwin with the startxwin.bat file, the log file does not

After upgrading to XFree86-xserv-4.3.0-50, I've noticed two
annoying changes for which I don't have any explanation:
- the '' key does not work
- I've got to run `setxkbmap de` manually.
I've just re-installed 4.3.0-47, and everything is fine again

I should have looked closer to the diff of the XWin.log files.
Harald,
I should have looked closer to the diff of the XWin.log files.
Both of them seem to indicate that /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 isn't
evaluated with 4.3.0-50. The file contains:
Option XkbModel pc105
Option XkbLayoutde
[...]
The differences beteen the XWin.log files

Any hints?
XF86Config-4 file is no longer read. See the following article.

Hi Harold,
I just upgraded to XFree86-xserv-4.3.0-43 but the problem is still there ! When I type

Marcel,
Do you have XFree86-xserv-4.3.0-29? Are the 00 keys generated with
AltGr? If so, you may benefit from 4.3.0-29. If not, I'm not sure what
your problem is.
