WHEN WILL THEY TELL US THE REAL STORY?

Haven't you read the Downing Street minutes? Why else are we not already demanding our Congress to probe why it was "the facts and intelligence are being fixed around the policy" (the exact quote) of invading Iraq. Even if the justification for the war was a not fraud, the fact that the occupation has gone so terribly wrong, with resistance from native insurgents only increasing every day, would be enough cause to question why we are even there at all.

What we have learned is our president was fixated on having this war, justified or not, legal or not, and whether it would actually exacerbate terrorism and the threat to America or not. Our president secretly agreed with the British prime minister to attempt to elicit a military retaliation from the Iraqis with massive bombings in 2002, and even though Iraq did not retaliate he still invaded anyway. He figured that the Iraqis wouldn't submit to the weapons inspectors, and despite the fact that were fully cooperating he invaded anyway. The truth has finally been revealed that Iraq didn't have any weapons threatening us with any kind of destruction, and he knew it all along.

It's time for America to demand that our Congress exercise its constitutional duty to call our president to account. The time has come to find out why WE WERE DECEIVED, and who was involved in manufacturing and promoting those lies. We have to judge who should be held responsible for running our military, our budget, and our standing throughout the world into a ditch for this unlawful and endless debacle.
