HELP REJECT THE "BANKRUTPCY ABUSE" BILL IN THE HOUSE

Do you have to pay 25, 35 percent or over on your ccards? How do you like outrageous late and overlimit charges? Have they raised your interest to the max the instant you were a day late?

The Senate rejected all attempts to provide measures prohibiting credit abuse in the pending bill. Plus, they would not act to do anything to stop the exclusive asset protection trusts that corporate kingpins use to shield THEIR portfolios, perhaps what they may have stolen from your own retirement fund by bookkeeping theft. What are you going to do about this? What CAN we do about this?

Our Senate has been unwilling to vote for fairness, but this provision still has to pass the house, where all members have to face re-election in 2006. Won't you take a moment to tell them that that you won't be quiet while they betray you in favor of private lobby groups. What would happen to you if a member of your family suffered a medical disaster? Also rejected by the Senate were provisions to make an exception when a single illness can ruin you. Will there be a family member forced into endless deployment as your resources crumble? Our senators don't care while their banking industry pals take you for all you've got. Speak out now to let the house know what you think.

They dismissed the long overdue raise in the minimum wage, an exception for victims of identity hijacking, and for the ability of our senior citizens to maintain just a modest bit of the home they've lived in all their lives. It's not a surprise level-headed news sources are calling this bill despicable. Our Senate would not hear it. Or perhaps we haven't started speaking up loudly enough yet.
