I would think the problem with the camp X-Ray approach is the same as happened historically in Botany Bay or fictionally in the Moon is a Harsh Mistress. When (not if) the ongoing support of the penal colony collapses what happens? The children are in legal limbo; neither convict nor citizen.

I agree. The paper printout may be unconnected to fraudulent tally numbers produced later for publication. This is better than the literal nothing produced at present. There is a small chance many voters could use there receipts to counter fraudulent tally in low-vote ward. -Original

The Soviet Union and Pre-Invasion II Iraq had voter turnouts of 98+%. If voter turnout were important the same could be done here. What is wanted is a high turnout of INTERESTED voters. Only ballot choices produce that. Nevada has consistently higher voter turnout at all levels than any other
