when I try to start a Dabo application I get this:

Can I assume you have changed the _checkForUpdates to False to insure
that the app is not attempting to connect to Dabo?
No, I haven't changed anything in the Dabo code. I'll try that as soon
as I've got the time (this Dabo problem hit me at exactly the wrong
moment, moreover it's getting late
