I loaded DPP and played with the image to see how Canon processed it. Then, I went back to darktable and tried again. Here's what I came up with. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1sM3oq7EDWXtAdqWyMMqwENcf1oP7wK_G XMP is attached. On Sun, Nov 4, 2018 at 3:25 AM Andrey wrote: > Just compare the

[darktable-dev] Merge Github Issues and Redmine tracker ?

2018-11-04 Thread Aurélien Pierre
Hi, having Redmine bug tracker and Github PR apart makes it unnecessarly complicated to follow/reference bugs and PR/fixes, or to ping people. Wouldn't it be better to switch to Github issues tracker, wiki and such ? Cheers, Aurélien.

[darktable-dev] active module jumps onto another image

Hello There is a problem in the current git - if the monochrome module is active and its color picker is applied (at least in auto mode), when switching to another image in the darkroom, the latter gets the same module added to its history stack and active. And it's impossible to go to the

Re: [darktable-dev] What is the gamma.c IOP ?

2018-11-04 Thread Aurélien Pierre
hello, I have partially solved the issue with the wrong readings of the color picker : there is actually a function dt_dev_pixelpipe_process_no_gamma() in src/dev/pixelpipe_hb.c that temporarily disables the gamma IOP to get the reading. I have modified it to disable the colorout IOP instead.

Just compare the pictures side by side. Your result is rather good for DT, not for RT or Canon DPP. Stains, colored lever, bear's fur is blured. Look at this: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1_s1WzY2D_fgxTs0sjP4ygsPUcnf_GfkA Pay attention to history and NR tool clarity. DT may replace all denoise
