Hello,
I'm preparing an article for a German computer magazine about the CAI
and C2PA. Both are jointly working on an open standard to establish an
infrastructure for a secure proof of authenticity of online media. To
ensure the open character of the endeavour, the C2PA (which is
responsible for authoring the technical parts of the standards) works
under the roof of the Linux Foundation.
I would like to know whether the Darktable developer community has
already heard of CAI / C2PA and if there are any plans to implement the
handling and creation of CAI / C2PA metadata. In addition, I would like
to know about the general attitude towards CAI / C2PA in your community.
Infos about the CAI and C2PA can be found here:
https://contentauthenticity.org/
https://c2pa.org/
I hope it's okay to use the mailing list to ask my questions - it was
suggested that way on IRC yesterday.
