that's good news!
Still the question remains why the old settings make problems. Normally even
with excessive tiling the output should be fine. This needs to be examined at
some time.

the last point did the trick. I have darktable 64bit but somehow the two memory values you mentioned where 500 and 8. I restored them and now the picture comes out fine.

Hi there,
with the introduction of the method to get the monitor profile in the
option panel (Darktable git mster), the panel is higher than my screen
resolution (1360x768) and with no scrollbars, so I can't hit the ok button
to save the options.
