cool, thanks. i pushed that filtered by nikon d90 (so other images don't
get it in the menu). not sure we want to maintain these curves for every
model in the long term. maybe yes.

Ah no, I didn't do a combined one.
Hi,
Not sure if the numbers are OK but here is the link for Nikon D90 basecurves in
two archive
formats.

heya,
thanks for those, your iso 1600 and 3200 fits looks a bit off, maybe the
image had too many dark pixels? also possible that the camera does some
on-chip processing, either way the fit is confused. could you redo those
high-iso shots with slightly less blacks? alternatively i could hack the

heya,
iso 3200 and 6400 are heavily processed in camera, so the results are
borderline useful. variance after stabilization goes up to about 2x of what
it should, but starting at input level 0.4 (which almost counts as a
highlight after the basecurve has been applied).
probably not much you can d
heya,
your graphs look spot-on, very nice fits. the camera has the usual problem
of slightly higher variance near the blacks, but not very pronounced.
i'll push those numbers, cheers,

hi,
thanks for those.
your images starting ~ iso 2500 are a little bit on the dark side. that
means the dark pixels are so many compared to the rest that they dominate
the curve, so the fit for those iso and higher are off a little, the one at
iso 12800 being the worst.
