view as a large special case printing dialog? Or maybe that is what you are
doing.

Some news...
I have been able to create a page out of an image with Gutenprint
(outside of dt). At this point I think I have most of the Gutenprint
knowledge to create the printing module.
So this is moving, slowly but moving...
