I first noticed the problem yesterday morning though.
Photos taken with a Nikon V1, lens Nikkor 10-30mm, show serious
architectural distortion in the bottom left corner. It's almost a "fish-eye
effect"

For what it's worth, I tried out these curves on my build of the
X-Trans branch of DT and they look pretty good to me (using dynamic
range of 100). Just a little bit darker than my out of camera jpegs,
but the colors look good, esp the blues in the sky and skin tones. I

ones behave 'as expected' :-)
