That looks like a good change, however if the value is being set to zero by
a means other than the preferences dialog (which it seems to be) then my
understanding from the commit message is that the referenced change won't
help.

i think you're 2h late for that, houz already fixed it (at least for new
preference changes.. this will not update your old 0).

FTR, I have seen this behavior also, where that setting somehow ends up
at 0. Likewise, I had never (and obviously would never) set it to 0 on
my own, unless there's some weird UI interaction that might cause that
unintentionally.
That said, there's definitely a bug here somewhere.
