I assume you use VirtualBox as a virtual machine to run Linux on.
VirtualBox has a "share" directory, which you can config to allow both host
and guest
to have access to this folder. Once you have set this share directory up,
all you have to do is copy files between host and guest operating system

I am about to quit Adobe and am considering Darktable.
In order to do so I need to install Linux as guest on my Windows OS.
Can I easily open files from google picassa in Darktable and then export them
back?
