No i can't reproduce all the time.
The image size is 4024 * 6020
The mask was arround 10% of size image
It's crash when a new point is really near from a old one (or at exactly
the same place ?)
I just have try with the new changes, i can't reproduce but as i can't

do you manage to reproduce the crash ?
what is the size of your image ?
what is approx the size of your shape ? in % of the total image
do you use sharp or smooth corners ?

I have play with the mask of the git version, add path i have got a
crash :
No all debug symbols are available, so i'm not sure, this trace is
usefull or useless ?
