When you exit the module settings editor, it will adjust the curves based
on the 'mix' value and reset it to 1.0, so the effect is equivalent.

I use the Split Toning module for a warm tone by clicking on each color block
and entering the hex color value #928D88 into each patch, then adjust
saturation to taste. To my eye, this gives me a nice warm tone reminiscent of
Agfa Protiga darkroom paper that I used many, many years ago.

I found that the base settings of 'split-tone' was a very good starting
point for me ... then adjusting up the saturation for both the shad/high
to suit ones taste.
