Hi,
I've had issues (under different desktops) with having the profile
loaded. Now I just use:
dispwin -I /path/to/profile.icc
to load it and
dispwin -V /path/to/profile.icc
to verify it has been loaded correctly.
dispwin is part of argyll.

More information. I found that I did not have xiccd installed. Installing
and running it resulted
darktable-cmstest reporting:

I could get an explanation to my problem, and I felt very confused.
When starting using my D4s, I did not create any profile for it, used a neutral
basecurve instead.
Then updated to DT 2.6 *and* in the same time created the profile the (I
thought) same way I did for the D700 some years a
The shortening of the filename DID WORK after trying it again. I probably did something wrong the first time...
