- IPS Panel is a must (angle-independent image reproduction)
- min. 100% sRGB is a must
- 16:10 is good (better than 16:9 for use with darktable because of the
side panels)
and so years ago I bought a hp E241i which is good in terms of color space.

i bought two used HP Z24-something with HDMI, DP, DVI and USB for small money
an im satisfied @ harlander.com in Germany.
Three reasons to buy used where
-price
-16:10 wuxga and
-IPS-Panel
They work fine for years now, way better than new ones ;)
