Before you upgrade from Darktable 4.4 to 4.6.0 please switch *off* the option "/recursive directory/" in the import-dialog window. If this option is on, DT will freeze when attemting to copy & import. If you have already upgraded you can't switch it from the gui, because the option is in the w
