Hi Bernhard, You're welcome. I've done some updates to the script lately. I added gmic so that we could use the gmic sharpening scripts. Currently the only one included is the Richardson/Lucy Deconvolve. I also added presets, so that you could save settings and apply them. And, I included the

Hi Bill, thanks for this. I installed your repo and activated that sharpen script. It works well so far - only thing I found was that I could not save more than one preset using this addon in the export presets. Next thing on my todo list is to improve my own experience of what mode and para

Bernhard, I've written a post sharpening lua script to do sharpening after export using imagemagick. It's not complete, nor ready for inclusion in the lua scripts repository but it does work and is usable. Kneops, the problem with sharpening in darktable is that it gets lost when you export espec

@Remco, I did try Local Contrast and the highpass filter, but that didn't help and made details even more uglier. By the way, I mostly don't scale my images. I deliver them at the original (raw) size. Equalizer is too complex for me I'm afraid. Op 12-10-19 om 06:44 schreef Remco Viëtor: O

I didn't try RT for a while, but just installed it again and it even does a better job in sharpness and detail than C1. Remarkable. I was almost going to buy a Windows machine just for photos, but now I might try RT again, although I find DT easier to use and with more tools. Using imagemagic

Let me pipe in. I'm also a Fuji user, x-t10 and x-pro2. DT is not great in the sharpening dept. It's not bad but there's more work to be done. Rawtherapee is far, far superior in the sharpening and noise reduction department. Rawtherapee has sharpening + edge detection and post-resize sharpening.
