Also, you may avoid the bug if you set preferences->lighttable->don't use
embedded preview JPEG.

is a bug in darktable 3.2.1 which can result in the input color profile of the
RAW image being set to sRGB (or other JPEG profiles?) under some circumstances.
The bug has been fixed in current master, and is discussed
