Hi all,
I have a Canon 6D with a tether tools cable to my laptop running
Linuxmint, it is completely reliable. Although I am frustrated that
gphoto2 captures the port on connection. Is there a way to stop that, so
that darktable can have a clear run when tethering?
The Canon 5D Mkiv would also benefit because after unmounting the Camera
and mounting the 5D the mount fails on the first frame. It is then
captured by gphoto2 immediately. So I have to unmount the
gphoto-captured camera and go through the process again. Is the problem
repeatable? YES
The easy answer is just use the 6D for studio work and forget the 5D
Mkiv. Not ideal.
Any help with this would be appreciated

Kind regards
Andrew Greig
