Filmic assumes that it receives a linear scene-referred image. darktable's standard matrices are just linear transformations of the demosaiced raw file, so this is fine. However, if you use an input profile that has some sort of gamma correction, then the data is no longer linear, and you can use

Can someone please explain the relation between unbreak input profile (logarithmic mode) and filmic rgb? The online manual says, that unbreak is required for certain input profiles, while some research on filmic seems to imply that unbreak was sort of an early version of filmic and they are not
