so I tried and got the following output. any hint on the issue?

without looking at the raw i think you didn't overexpose the image enough,
that's usually the reason. we want to span the whole dynamic range, so your
best bet is probably to shoot out of your window into some bright sky and
include dark stuff in the foreground. oh, and make it all as blurry as
