I’d probably put the whole Linux install on the SSD and mount the 500G one up as secondary storage as the whole thing is then going to be so much quicker to run. But personally I’d be looking to spec up the laptop with a larger 100G minimum SSD and maybe not even bother with the hard disk. Rg
