I have always been somewhat fearful of the image deletion process in dt, it that images were not recoverable from the trash. I now find that if I do accidentally 'fry' an image it can be easily recovered, prior to exiting from dt, by simply reimporting the folder in which the image sits. I learn

This is highly bizarre. Just for the helluvit, I downloaded and installed a new 1.6 dmg. This time, rather then replacing the 1.4.2 app as I had done previously, I chose to keep both. Upon activating the darktable2.app, version 1.6 started as expected. Immediately I saw all of the file structure
