Guys,
I see some exiv2 errors during folder scan but the console doesn't say which is
faulty file. How do I know it? The error says:
[exiv2] XMP Toolkit error 201: XML parsing failure

Thanks. I see the Sessions Options are now in the Preferences.
Was there a technical reason to move the Session Options? I am just
curious. It seems like an odd move to me. But I understand everyone's

Hi,
DT 1.6.9. I'm trying to get the images between 2015/09/01 and today.

In my case, the correct thing to do would be to automatically enlarge
the cropping area and recrop from the original file.
What I would do is first just like you do : use darktable to export a
JPEG. But I would consider t

is it possible to write crop metadata (see
http://photo.stackexchange.com/questions/43893/how-to-store-tilt-rotation-and-crop-information-in-metadata,
xmp parameters for crop values) instead of actually performing the crop?
I guess it is not a standard feature (at least I did not find it)
