I classify mine the same way but I don't use downloader software.
I pop the memory card out of the camera, put it in a USB adapter, plug

In fact, I think that Philippe is right : adding RPD capabilities to DT would
be an excellent idea.
ATM, DT is absolutely not capable of what RPD does.
RPD can import files from the memory stick to a location, Dt only imports them
into its library, letting the transfer itself to the user.
RPD
That did the trick, Patrick. Thanks!

Sorry, this is not DT-related directly, but I assume a bunch of Nikon

This is the mail system at host dreggn.org.
I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not

Saturday, I attempted an upgrade from openSUSE 13.2 to openSUSE Tumbleweed,
which employs Darktable 1.6.8 instead of the 1.4.2 that 13.2 uses. The
upgrade wasn't a good fit so I rolled back to 13.2.
The upgrade installed 'over' my existing Darktable .cache and .config
directories/files.

I used Germano's copr repository, and it's in and seems to be working well.

All my images library is classified by date. ( / , MM, DD) with
Rapid-Photos-Downloader software.
Then I import my images in DT (Pictures directory, recursive mode ).
I entered keywords.
Then I search my images with these keywords.
I want to know the number of images that can index DT

Hi.
At this point i can only recommend trying 2.0rc3
Especially if you want to use 4k monitor.
Disclaimer: as usually, you will not be able to downgrade to previous
dt release.
So backup *.xmp's, and if you
Anyway, it's crashing regularly now.
I tried renaming darktablerc - now it doesn't crash, but the lighttable is
all over the place (a mixture of files from various collections, plus
skulls).
So i renamed back darktablerc, and edited it ro remove the lines that set a
drawing area of 3000 x 2000. B
Should I send that .txt file here? I looked through it, but nothing stood

So is it safe to empty ~/.cache/darktable/ ? I assume it is from the name,
but I'd like to be sure before I do it.

I have just got a 4k monitor.
I started darktable. Lighttable looked good, but going in to darkroom, the
picture was small.
So I went to settings, set the maximum drawing area to 3000 x 2000 and
restarted.
Now darkroom looks good but lighttable is trashed.
Consulting the user manual, it sets ch
