Is there a way to benchmark darktable? I'm considering on generating
some performance numbers using this application but I don't know which
should be the best approach to do that. For instance, does it include
some sort of headless mode? Can I pass a sequence of commands

As normal with darktable you can easily extract history stacks of my
edits by loading the JPEGs as s
I use lighttable mode to zoom and mark good images with a star, change
filtering to show >= star, switch to darkroom, edit and export from there,
switch to next image by Space. Rarely I return to lighttable, only to edit my
styles or jump to a particular image.

Sometimes darktable makes me loose the job just done, or worse, erases the
wrong image .
I think the way darktable set focus on a photo (selects it) at lighttable
(LT) mode often leads to unwanted action being executed.
