Do not modify raw files. Ever. You run too much risk of breaking them. One approach that should work would be: Remove the images from darktable (using the remove button in the selected images module of the lighttable). This will remove the image and associated metadata from darktable's libr

I made a real mess! Is there any way of easily purging all latitude and longitude details of incorrectly geotagged photos? After applying the gpx track file and making the time offset (as shown in a reference photo of my gps display), I found that my photos were misplaced by a few kilometres.

OK, after crashing DT trying to import files from my Epson V550 including experimenting with assigning new color profiles, DT will no longer launch under any circumstances. I have tried re-installing to no avail. Does DT hide files somewhere on the system that I need to find and delete to allow it
