Using Darktable 1.2.3 on (64bit) LinuxMint 15 with Nvidia 313-30 graphics driver.
Just getting to grips with Darktable after fitting a Nvidia GT620 graphics card for opencl and I'm getting an odd result. With opencl off Denoise (profiled) wavelet takes 14.4 seconds to run through a 24Mb raw image from my Nikon D600, and with opencl on it only takes just 6.6 seconds - nice! However, if I then change the Denoise (profiled) to 'non-local means' the processing time is 60.9 seconds without opencl but 112.0 seconds with it, - twice as long and the computer becomes very unresponsive. So, I'm wondering if anyone else has found the same problem or if it is something peculiar to my set up that I could maybe adjust?. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Rapidly troubleshoot problems before they affect your business.
