Hi.
Actually I do post-resizing sharpening with Digikam, as I found that's
needed when exporting to a smaller size, eg. for sharing a picture with
friends.
I use the refocus module, and If I target a picture with 1024 as larger
size the parameters are 0,6 - 0,5 - 0,040 - 0,0 - 3.

Even though sharpening is just before the last module in the pipeline
(output color profile), afaik it's done before resizing right? If post
resize sharpening has an noticeable impact on image quality maybe the
export module could integrate this no?

Then the question is still alive...

That won't sharpen at the end of the pipe, it just adds a new sharpen module
in the pipe (or overwrites the existing one, depending on settings).

I think so.
In fact, I searched the net to find a way to determine how to set the
plugin based on the export resolution but I found nothing generic enough,
so in my case it was a bit of trial/error until I liked the results.
I export my 24mpx RAWs (Pentax K-3) to a max resolution of fullHD and I
I thought about this but the sharpening values are different depending on
the output resolution right?
