Hi everyone,
for some time now I wonder why I can't get to "maximize" nor full screen
mode (F11) on my laptop.
Everything works fine on my desktop.
Laptop screen is 1280x720, desktop 24" hp is 1920x1200.
I synchronize the profiles by using freefilesync.
Yesterday I found the cause and solution: I work with hierarchical tags
which can get somewhat long. So I widened the sidebar to 350px in the
preferences.
This setting is too wide for the smaller screen, obviously the center
part has a minimum witdh so that the minimum size darktable window is
still bigger than the screen.
Reducing the sidebar to e. g. 250px resolves the problem.
Perhaps this might help someone out there ...
