No, no long entries in any of the drop down boxes. (I have
"$(FILE_FOLDER)/JPGs/$(FILE_NAME)" in the file on disk box but I
wouldn't call it long)

There is some GTK oddity
It's the standard Kubuntu theme, and
not so much of a problem that I'm going to change the theme, more
an untidy annoyance.
Seems to be only three modules that do it - export selected,
metadata editor and history stack. Doesn't seem to to do it with
As a total guess I'd change your theme to see if that helps with the
overlap problem.

In lighttable mode, with the "export selected" module expanded the
scroll bar is over the top of some of the drop-down arrows etc on the
right hand side of the module - is there a way to adjust this? (I can
send a screen dump if what I've just said makes no sense!)
