What are other missing dependency checks? I don't know of anything other
than gtk-sharp-2.0 and mono-1.1 that we should check for.

Ok ..it makes sense.. I'm using another packaged version of beagle
(from ubuntu backports 0.11-1). Do you think it could be useful to
indicate that requirement on the Hackfest webpage ?

holmes is built up on. But I didn't start playing with holmes before I
did grab the 0.1 beta - So anyone out there know more about this?

Nils - Just wondering if you have made any progress in writing a mail backend for Thunderbird. I think Thunderbird has a growing userbase and adding it to beagle will be a tremendous help.
PS - I am not a developer but will be happy to lend a hand in testing, when you are ready.
