What version of sqlite do you have installed? We require 2.8.x, not
version 3. You can find out with:
% pkg-config --modver
i'm using gentoo, and everything works fine until i want to compile
beagle (using latest cvs). I have all the dependencies installed (double
and triple checked sqlite) and it still gives me this error:

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_
Doesn't play well with dual-displays. The desklet shows up right smack
on the split between the screens, and I can only move it to the right
one. It refuses to go any further left than the current position. It
also opens up a little box asking me to start the beagle, and then
contains what looks li

my boss just posed an interesting question about beagle. he said that
when he was downloading a file (in firefox) it kept giving errors about
not being able to read the file while it was still downloading. is it
possible to have firefox send a notice to beagle so that it only
attempts to read the f
It's most likely due to the fact that Hoary uses Mono 1.0.5. Beagle
requires at least 1.0.6
To get it working again in hoary, follow the instructions on the beagle
wiki:

hope that helps,

Alrighty, I got another one. Whenever I try to run any mono-based app, i
get something similar to this:
Unhandled Exception: System.DllNotFoundException: gnomesharpglue

Ok, this is probably going to earn me the "Stupid Question of the Year"
award, but here goes.
I'm running ubuntu (Hoary), and mono is stuck at 1.0.5. I can't compile
anything from cvs, and I'm sure the obvious response is "upgrade mono".
I get this message (or something similar) when compiling bl

Hey all,
I get the same thing when I drag files from nautilus.
It happens no matter what type of file it is (I tried, tar.gz, jpg, exe,
.conf, .doc)
I noticed something else when the filename has spaces in it. the second
link (in the form of /home/user/My file here)
ends up only linked till 'My'
I did get it to compile on Tuesday, and then sometime later in the week.
It still has the problem with generating huge amounts of logs.

It's actually CVS from last Thursday or Friday. I wasn't able to get
cvs to compile at all yesterday. I'll try again today though.

Ok, here's what I did to fix it (just for
archival purposes).
I tried the inotify flag, and it crashed gnome with the ubuntu 2.6.10-4
kernel.
So I booted with 2.6.20-3, and it worked great. Thanks for the help
everyone.
