I want to run the searching on the same machine and operating system. The OS is
Ubuntu Desktop and I have postgresql, apache2, perl installed. There is a
/var/www directory on my machine now, and

It's supposed that dpsearch is built on the server where it runs (indexing and
searching). Probably you may face a problem transferring dpsearch's data from
one PC to another PC if they have too
