Job: Java Developer Location: Weehawken, NJ Duration: 6 Months We are looking for primarily, Java/J2ee resources with good knowledge of Core Java and J2EE technology. The tasks the resources have to work are enhancements and bug fixes for the existing application. Resource should be able to trouble shoot the issue and provide the fixs which is unit/integration tested. Enhancements are also part of deliverable where resource has to understand the business requirement and provide the solution/design and this is followed with coding and unit/integration testing and provide support to QA team for acceptance testing. *Technical Skill Set**:* (Must have Hands on experience in the following areas-) 1. Must have clear knowledge on Java OOPS concepts. 2. Java: Strong Skills on core Java programming with the ability of doing Java code reviews and performance tuning of the Java applications. 3. J2EE concepts and programming like Servlets, Jsp, Javascript, Struts, JDBC, Design Patterns. 4. Knowledge of additional tools like Eclipse, WebSphere, WinCVs, UNIX. 5. Knowledge and experience in Sybase and writing stored procedures will be an added advantage. *Functional Skill Set*: 1. Knowledge of SDLC process is a must 2. Must be able to manage and create document related to design, change management & LOE (Level of Estimation) etc 3. Should be able to handle application issues independently 4. Good Analytical & problem solving skills. 5. Should be willing to work on development and maintenance of the application. 6. Good communication and presentation skills and good in writing test cases. 7. Must be a quick Learner and a good team Player.1-3 Years experience Deliver the work allocated ensuring project time lines are met in a timely manner and in accordance with project plan and schedule. Ensure to take care of the day to day requirements from the customer as per agreed norms. Willing to take up any tasks assigned by the PM/TL in terms of supporting the applications, developing new applications, owning up the applications developed. Should be customer oriented, understand their needs and enable them with error free programs/applications. Build strong and in depth knowledge on the technical subjects assigned. Should be able to design the solution based on the requirements of the Customer.
