*Job Title : Dimensional Data Modeler Location : Elk Grove Village, IL Duration : 10+ Months* *Description : * Demonstrated 5-7 years minimum of practical experience with the design and development of Dimensional Data Models (Star and Snow Flake Schemas, Kimball Methodology) based on existing ER Logical Data Models. Practical hands on experience using data modeling tools, in particular ER/Studio and/or ERwin. Experienced in data analysis, mapping, usage, and creation of metadata. Experienced in interpreting Business Process Models and requirements and writing data requirements. Exposure to Oracle OBIEE and RPD metadata a plus. Excellent communication and facilitation skills. Experienced in organizing and leading JAD sessions. * * * * Primary responsibility will be in the development of Dimensional Data Models based on ER Logical Data Models. Where no Logical Data Model exists, the Logical Data Model will need to be developed first. Collection of model meta-data and source to target mapping. Actively participate in model reviews with peers to ensure a high quality product. Work with DBA and Business Intelligence Services Teams on the integration of the physical data model and OBIEE RPD and metadata with the Logical Data Model.
