Hi
all.
I have a question
about cursor. I want to display an arrow cursor on video window or osd
window.
For using davinci
chip, there are two ways to implement cursor- s/w, h/w cursor. If I use the
s/w cursor,
it is possible
because this way doesn't depend on a specfic chip. But,

Andy,
Perhaps the following info will help you in deciding whether to add a second
RAM device.
Keep in mind that both the ARM and DSP have cache. The cache greatly reduces
the number of DDR2 accesses which also reduces the number of conflicts. Also,

I don't found the vpfe driver even in the latest kernel tree.
Now,I got the davinci_vpfe.c and ccdc_davinci.c from the internet
but I can't get their header--davinci_vpfe.h and ccdc_davinci.h.
Anyone know how to get them? Thanks.

Andy,
The DM6446 has exactly 2 memory interface busses on it. One

These 2 memory interfaces are completely independent of each other. At any

I have question that I wanted to ask. The DVEVM board has 256 MB DDR RAM
available to the ARM and DSP; according to the document
that comes with codec examples, this RAM is partitioned as follows:

with MEM=120M

Not sure what you mean. I2C works on the DVEVM, yes. I've been able to

Lorenzo,
I'm planning to incorporate your fix into the next release of the DVEVM
kernel (MV 2.6.10 kernel). Before I do, I just wanted to see if you've
made any other progress or fixes.
Thanks,

It would be useful for you to explain _why_ you want to change the timer
period. There are almost certainly much better ways to achieve

Are you sure it should work in this way.
Did you test UART 1 communication ?
