Thank you, Brad.
We are wondering if it is possible (using a DM355) to decode a MPEG-4
from a DVBS signal. It does not matter if the output resolution is
about 780p, but it should decode up to 1080i.
Many thanks,
Carlos

Euan,
This message is just a warning and will not have any effect of
execution.
The warning is coming because DSP/BIOS Link does not use the kernel
build system and also it is not under the same license as the kernel
itself.

Bernard,
LAD can be used to connect to start the DSP, but apart from that, you
can use DSPLINK standard APIs by making calls directly to DSPLINK
protocols.
MSGQ and other protocols can be used for inter-processor communication
via CE. Please look at the samples shipped with the Link release at
hi,all I used the profile tools of CCS to get the clk of my function. First
time I got a right result,it seemed my function consumed about 200,000,000
clks, but when I changed the function's parameter( which caused the function to
work more) ,I got a clock number of about 100,it was obviously
I've been beating my head against a wall trying to figure out how to
support NAND flash with the git kernel. My current thought is that I
need to take the NAND driver from the MV kernel and get it working with
git. Is this the correct approach? Or is there a better approach?

Carlos,
The DM355 will decode 720p (30fps) but NOT 1080i streams.

Hi Avishai and list,
I am trying to rebuild the decodeCombo.x64P Codec Server in the
dm6446_dvsdk_combos_1_23 evaluation package shipped from TI (note, this is the
evaluation package with libraries *.l64P, not the DVEVM nor DVSDK). The
building process seemed OK without any error or warning
