Hi Will,

 

1.       Make sure you are connecting to UART0

2.       Make sure you have some sort of RS232 level translation going on..
like a MAX232 or USB UART chip.

3.       Physically check the transmit and receive lines with a scope, to
make sure you are lines are correct and not reversed.

Hi,


I'm assuming UART mode is supported by a factory chip DM6446AZWT.

 

We have our new boards in and trying to get "BOOTME" to show up.

 

This is what I have done so far:

 

1) Verified Power and Ground to Davinci.

2) Verified the 27Mhz Christal is isolating.

3) Verified the 1.8V_RESET

4) Verified BTSEL0 and BTSEL1 are set for Uart boot

 

Any other Ideas of what I could try
