Jeremy,

This scenario works with the DVTB application present in the DVSDK 3.10
installation. We could sequentially encode two YUV 420SP streams of size
1920x1088 and 1280x720 using two codec instances.
However we have kept the maxWidth to 1920 and maxHeight to 1088 for both
instances.

Can you try closing the Codec Engine and open it once again before creating the
second instance? You might get some clue.

If possible you can try running the DVTB as well.

Regards,
Prem

Subject: DM365 H.264 Encoder size change problem

I am having a problem anytime I change the height and width setting of the
H.264 encoder on the DM365. I have tried sending XDM_RESET control message to
the encoder to try and reset it before I change to the new size. I have even
deleted and recreated the encoder with VIDENC1_delete and VIDENC1_create calls
before starting the new size and the produced bitstream is still not correct.
The syntax is correct but the decoded image is not. I can independently encode
either size setting (after a board reboot) correctly, but when I try to switch
size the problem occurs. I am using dvsdk_3_10_00_03. Can anyone offer any
advice?

Jeremy
