Looking at the path 'drivers/net/XC/...' , please tell me that you are not
trying to build userspace code in the kernel?
If you are then that would explain the lack of 'stdio.h' as this has no place
in kernel land.
You could try 'hello world' - that needs stdio.h and the arm compiler
