This seems like a good implementation to me.
However, I don't think it's a good idea to limit the values on the "remarks"
attribute in this way, as this could cause unwanted side effects with for ex.
messages left on objects for other network operators.
Also:

I approve implementation of this, and already use geofeeds in "remark"
attributes.
I've not seen much movement about this in a while so i think it might be a good
idea to bring up again.
Has there been any further discussion anywhere about this?
